Meet the Tutors
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Writing Center in the library, room 251. You can find us on the main floor to the right of the circulation desk. (We are directly over Starbucks.) We offer both online and in-person tutoring.
Lauren DiEdwardo
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Lauren DiEdwardo is a second year graduate student at West Chester University. She has a B.A. in Linguistics with a minor in Japanese, and her Graduate degree is Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). This is her third semester at the writing center. She is an Outside of the Writing Center, she enjoys reading, traveling, and studying foreign languages, and just returned from her summer teaching in Indonesia!

Coralyn Kutzner

Coralyn is a first-year graduate student studying music history and literature at West Chester University. This is their first year at the Writing Center, but has worked as an online writing tutor in the past. Outside of the Writing Center, Coralyn enjoys playing TTRPGs and board games, making art, going to the theatre, and doing activities with their dogs. Fun fact! Their medical alert service dog, Pilot, is named after Coralyn's favorite musical: Come From Away.

Jenna Loquercio

Jenna Loquercio is a second year Clinical Psychology Doctoral student at West Chester University. She started at the Writing Center in Fall 2025. Outside of the Writing Center, Jenna enjoys cooking, pilates, and hanging out with friends! Fun Fact: Jenna was a D1 springboard diver in college.

Isabel Marshall

Isabel Marshall (she/her) is a 4th year undergraduate student at West Chester University. She majors in English with minors in French and Civic & Professional Leadership. She has been at the Writing Center since Summer 2025. Outside of the Writing Center, she participated in the WCU Marching Band Color Guard, and enjoys taking advantage of local service opportunities. Fun Fact: Isabel Marshall has worked as a grant writing intern for the Volunteer

Shannon O'Loghlin

Shannon is a third-year PsyD student at West Chester University. She is studying Clinical Psychology and is currently providing neuropsychological assessments and various therapies in the local community. Shannon is new the the Writing Center and is excited to support WCU students by offering a safe and creative space. Shannon enjoys helping with graduate school applications, CV/Resume and statement of purpose. Outside of the Writing Center, Shannon enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. Fun Fact: Shannon is learning how to bake sourdough!!

Marie Persia

Marie Persia is a 4th year English Education major with a minor in Creative Writing. She has been at the writing center since Fall 2025. Outside of the writing center, Marie plays clarinet in WCUPA's Incomparable Marching band. She also loves to paint, read, and pick up random hobbies!

Ramya is a second year graduate student at West Chester University, majoring in Applied Statistics with a concentration in Data Science. In undergrad, she studied Biology and English. Amaya Simmons

Amaya started working at the Writing Center in fall 2025. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Social Work and has a keen interest in how writing can serve as a powerful tool for personal and social change. She is passionate about creative arts, including drawing, painting, and exploring new movies. A notable highlight of her experiences was studying abroad in India, where she immersed herself in a new culture and refined her artistic skills. Amaya enjoys drawing portraits of people in her free time, capturing their unique expressions and personalities. She looks forward to combining her love for creativity with her academic goals and assisting others in finding their voice through writing.

Amy Hancox earned her B.A. in English Literature & Secondary Education from Eastern University and her M.S. in Higher Education Policy and Student Affairs (HEPSA) from West Chester University. Her research interests include ADHD & the role of academically supporting students, especially during the transition from high school into college.
