Bio
David Jones is an award-winning designer and an Associate professor within the Department of Art + Design where he specializes in typography, branding and packaging design. Over a fifteen-year career, Jones has earned distinctions from organizations such as Graphis, Communication Arts, Graphic Design USA, The Adobe Achievement Awards, Creative Quarterly, The University and College Designers Association, and the Society of Experiential Graphic Design among others. Jones' record of professional publications includes companies across a variety of sectors such as Motorola, HBO, SiriusXM Radio, RCA, and W Hotels. Jones' recent work focuses on socio-political and environmental issues, such as nuclear disarmament and climate change, and has been published for installation at the Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the 2020 Outreach Symposium in Geneva, Switzerland, and most recently the Reach at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
